Anointed Students in Unity Fellowship Fraternity and Sorority, Inc. was founded August 13, 1999 at Albany State University in Albany, Georgia. Nine young ladies and six young men bonded together to form a christian fraternal organization. The vision for ASUF was given to Shannon Metts Thomas who felt Gods calling to start a fraternity and sorority that sets God at the center of the organization.
